Google Adsense Tutorial
Question What is PIN and Tax issue?
PIN is just another security precaution that Google Adsense has in place to protect their publishers but it is important. Google Adsense will also collect tax information from participating in their program. If you are participating as an individual, you will need to provide them your Social Security Number.
Adsense PIN
When you accumulate $10 in earnings, Google Adsense will send you a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to the payment address you supplied when you signed up.Once you’ve been mailed a PIN number, your account payments will be on hold until the PIN is entered in your account. It would also be a good time to check your contact information and make sure it is correct.Click on the My Account tab, then click on edit.

This is just another security precaution that Google Adsense has in place to protect their publishers but it is important. If it hasn’t been entered within 1 year, your account will be disabled. You can still have access to your account and earn money; you just won’t be paid until the PIN is entered.Update the appropriate field and click submit changes.

To enter your PIN after you receive it in the mail, log into your Google Adsense account.
Adsense Tax Issue
As an American citizen, you are expected to pay taxes on all of your earnings, worldwide.
If you earn more than $600 annually with Google Adsense, they will supply you with a form 1099 for filing with your income taxes. If you are participating as an individual, you will need to provide them your Social Security Number.

Because these earnings are attached to a blog or website that you run on the Internet, it does not exempt them from being part of your taxable income. Every dollar you earn from your Internet endeavors is taxable, period. If you have a business, you will need to provide an EIN. This rule is applied on Americans. Contrary to some opinions, the Internet is not a tax-free zone where you do not have to relinquish income to the taxman because it is generated over the web. They will, however, withhold any payment to you until they have your tax information. Google Adsense will collect tax information from those participating in their program. They will allow you to participate in their advertising program without, first, providing them this information
